Change Your Life With a Healthy, Complete Smile

Rebuild Jaw Bone and Prepare for Dental Implants

Many adults struggle with missing teeth. Some are missing several teeth while others are fully edentulous, or missing all of their teeth. Our board-certified oral surgeons at Golden Foothills Oral, Facial, & Dental Implant Surgery proudly offer full-arch restoration to give patients the opportunity to achieve a complete and healthy smile again.

Full-arch restoration is a procedure that provides you with a new fixed arch of teeth in the upper arch, lower arch, or both. If you are missing most or all of your teeth or currently wear dentures and seek a better alternative, contact our practice today. Dr. Liberty offers full-arch restoration in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Auburn, CA.

What Is Teeth-in-an-Hour?

Teeth-in-an-Hour is the full-arch restoration system designed by Nobel Biocare®. The entire process of placing the dental implants and attaching a fixed denture takes about 1 hour. This means you can walk into our office with your current smile and leave our office about an hour later with a brand new, beautiful set of teeth.

We offer brand-name implant systems from the top manufacturers around the world. We offer these options to our patients to ensure you receive the highest grade implant system possible that’s perfect for your specific restoration needs. These systems include:

  • Straumann® Pro Arch
  • Teeth-in-an-Hour by Nobel Biocare
  • Astra Tech Implant System®
  • BIOMET 3i by Zimmer Biomet®

The Latest Dental Implant Technology

At Golden Foothills Oral, Facial, & Dental Implant Surgery, we use cutting-edge technology to provide better results for our patients. Our offices have CBCT scanners and TRIOS® intraoral scanners and we create detailed surgical guides to use for implant placement. We provide these services entirely in-house, which expedites the treatment process.

Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration (Teeth-in-an-Hour)

By restoring your smile using implant-supported prostheses, you enjoy a full set of teeth plus all the benefits of dental implants. Here are a few ways that fixed full-arch restoration can change your life:

  • Chew and speak with the same functionality as natural teeth.
  • Restore your self-confidence and take pride in your teeth.
  • Prevent jaw bone loss and preserve facial structure.
  • No special care required—brush and floss like natural teeth to maintain good oral hygiene.
  • Your implants become a part of your smile and will not need to be replaced with proper care.

Options for Missing All Upper or Lower Teeth

Fixed full-arch restoration is the ideal solution for achieving a fully functioning smile that looks and feels natural. However, we offer more restorative options to our patients to better fit your specific needs. In addition to full-arch restoration or Teeth-in-an-Hour using dental implants to support a fixed prosthesis, there are many types of implant-supported options that we offer if you are missing an entire arch of teeth.

Ball Attachment Denture
Two implants are placed in the lower jaw and hold a removable denture that snaps into place.
Bar Attachment Denture
Four to six implants are placed and connected using a metal bar. They hold a removable denture, or overdenture, that snaps into place.
Screw-Retained Denture
Five or more implants are placed and a fixed denture is attached. This denture is held in place with screws, clasps, and a support bar, and is removed during maintenance visits.
Individual Implants
All teeth are replaced using individual dental implants that remain in the mouth at all times.
Implant-Retained Upper Denture
Multiple implants are placed in the upper arch to support a removable denture. In some cases, we can eliminate the need to cover the roof of the mouth with a complete denture so you can fully taste food.

Full-Arch Restoration Surgery: What to Expect

During your first visit, we will take 3D scans and create your custom treatment plan. We perform this procedure using IV sedation, which will render you into a sleep-like state, unable to feel pain. You will wake up when the surgery is over, and many patients have no memory of the procedure itself. Our surgeons create detailed surgical guides to increase precision during implant placement. This technology creates a safer experience for our patients and ensures more predictable clinical outcomes.

After the sedation takes effect, your surgeon will insert the implant posts into the gums. Some cases require as few as four implant posts, while others may require more. Your surgeon will attach your new arch of teeth and you will leave our office with a brand new, beautiful smile.
